Fantasy football rookie sleepers are important to find in FanDuel and DraftKings, even more so in the first week when they are priced cheaply compared to value in some cases. Let us show you which fantasy football rookies are set to make an immediate impact during week 1 of DFS.

Fantasy Football Rookie Sleepers – FanDuel & DraftKings Week 1

Leonard Fournette – RB (Jax)

There are very few running backs who get the chance to come into a perfect situation where they are the undisputed workhorse, but Leonard Fournette is that guy this year. His first week matchup against the Houston Texans isn’t perfect, but he will be playing in the dome at NRG Stadium and Blake Bortles should be using him plenty to setup play action on the road. There’s no telling who Houston will trot onto the field at Quarterback, so Leonard Fournette may be used heavily to use the clock up at the end of the game as well. No matter what his price is on Fanduel and DraftKings, give Fournette consideration.

Dalvin Cook – RB (Min)

Reports out of training camp for Dalvin Cook have been excellent. With Latavious Murray dinged up already, it could be Dalvin Cook’s chance to step up and show the team what they’ve drafted. The Vikings play New Orleans at home week 1 and New Orleans had one of the weakest defenses last year. Cook’s price on FanDuel and DraftKings should be low, especially if Murray suits up, which will be an advantage for you.

Corey Davis – WR (Ten)

Tennessee spent the offseason upgrading their offence and giving more weapons to Marcus Mariota. One of those weapons is Corey Davis, who should line up across from Eric Decker. In week 1, Tennessee draws Oakland at home, who was susceptible to getting into shootouts throughout last year. Davis should get his chance to score a touchdown right in week one, which gives him immediate FanDuel and DraftKings consideration among these football rookie sleepers.

Zay Jones – WR (Buf)

Zay Jones’ fantasy value immediately went up in the past week, following the trade of Sammy Watkins and the injury to Jordan Mathews during his first practice as a Bill. Buffalo draws the New York Jets at home week 1, who has too many issues to keep track of. Zay Jones’ coming out party in Buffalo could be early so take notice before his price rises in DFS leagues.

David Njoku – TE (Cle)

Njoku was a first round pick for Cleveland at the NFL Entry Draft and who else does Cleveland have to get the ball to? Corey Coleman has the talents, but can’t stay healthy on the field. Brock Osweiler gave CJ Fiedorowicz fantasy relevance last year in Houston and likes to look to his Tight End to bail him out, which is good for Njoku. The nature of the Browns and a tougher matchup against Pittsburgh will keep the price of David Njoku down on FanDuel and DraftKings, which should allow you to spend heavily on other players.
